Terms of Service

By using Tamboji you agree to these terms. Please read them — especially the part about money and prizes.

The service

Tamboji is a tool to run tambola (housie) nights for real gatherings. The host calls numbers aloud; players mark digital tickets; the app acts as the ticket and the referee. It is the app’s job to verify claims fairly — not to play for you.

No money, no gambling

• Tamboji never holds, transfers, or facilitates money, deposits, entry fees or wagers. Entry is always free.
• Any prize names, amounts, “pots” or sponsor values shown in the app are display labels only. Any real prizes are arranged and exchanged offline, directly between participants.
• You agree not to use Tamboji to operate gambling, betting, or any activity requiring a gaming licence.

Accounts

• Hosts sign in with Google. Keep your account secure; you’re responsible for activity under it.
• Players can join with just a code and a name — no account required.
• You’re responsible for the games you host and the guests you invite.

Acceptable use

Don’t submit names, photos, messages or content that are illegal, hateful, harassing, infringing or otherwise abusive. We may suspend hosts or block players/devices that break these rules or disrupt others.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit (names, photos, custom prizes). You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content as needed to run the service (for example, showing your photo to your own game room).

Pro & payments

Hosting is free. We may offer a paid Pro plan with extra host features. If and when paid plans are available, billing, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown at checkout. Players never pay.

Disputes over prizes

Because the app never handles money or goods, any dispute about a real-world prize, forfeit, promise or sponsor reward is strictly between the participants. Tamboji is not a party to it and is not responsible for it.

Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tamboji is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between participants. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated version.
